CFF sets sail

While you are watching the cricket on Boxing Day please make sure you also witness the start of the Rolex Sydney to Hobart Yacht Race. No yachting event in the world attracts such huge media coverage, and you will be able to see our logo and colours on the main sail, hull and spinnaker of a boat called Broadsword.

Broadsword is owned and skippered by Simon Wood. Simon has generously agreed to use his boat and profile to support CFF. Broadsword has a crew of three, of which one is internationally renowned ocean racer, Eric Holden. Eric is the son of Sally “Canada” (as many of you will know her), one of our long time volunteers.

The boat is a 40-footer and is expected to do well in the handicap honours. This is huge exposure for CFF, good luck to Broadsword and her crew. We will be cheering for you!
